I’m Elizabeth—wife, mama, singer, and songwriter. I’m so glad you found your way here! I'm a Louisiana girl, born and raised in Baton Rouge. Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been dreaming up songs since I was knee-high. Growing up, CMT was my main source of entertainment, our radio was always on the local country station and I knew every Alan Jackson song by heart.
Music to me is memories and moments in life, it’s hearing a song and being brought back to a place and time. My hope is that my music will do the same for you: spark a memory, capture a feeling, or even inspire a new chapter in your life.
Thank you for stopping by! I can’t wait to share all the songs I’ve been working on—stay tuned for more updates and releases in the coming months. Welcome to my journey, and thanks for being a part of it. Here’s to making new memories together, one note at a time.
For a little while
As I was scrolling through social media one day, I came across a photo of a mom who was dancing with her son at his wedding, and she was bawling her eyes out. The immediate thought I had was, "I'm not going to be my son's number one girl forever!" Reflecting on this, I put into words all the things that I treasure about being a mama to my two boys. I hope my song "For A Little While" lets all the boy moms out there know, that I know exactly how they feel. The reality is, we are getting them ready to leave us one day, but it's such an important role we play. By showing them love and compassion and giving them our time, and yes, our blood, sweat, and tears, we are teaching them to one day care for their own families. God bless you boy moms, we're in this together!
What does it mean to be the "Best of me"?
The best role in my life has been mom. Yes, there are always challenges and even times you feel like a failure. Motherhood is not for the weak, but it can also bring the greatest joys and accomplishments. I think there is something that every mom can relate to in my new song "Best of Me". My hope is that moms know that they're not alone in this journey, and that we're all just trying to figure it out.
